Name : Rahul Hemrajani,
Rahul Hemrajani received his LL.M. in law and development from Azim Premji University, Bangalore. He has also completed a M.A. (Liberal Studies) with a concentration in law and politics from Ashoka University, Sonepat, where he was a fellow at the Young India Fellowship. Prior to his masters, Rahul was engaged in litigation practice at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Bangalore.
Rahul's main area of research centers around the intersection between legal and political theory. Currently, he is working on the "theologico-political problem", the conflicting claims of legitimacy as well as obligation of law and religion, and its implications on questions of constitutional design. His research interests also include legal education in India, empirical legal studies and interpretation of procedural rights in the Indian constitution.
