As per the UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions 2009, an Anti-Ragging Committee is constituted with the following faculty members.

It shall be duty of the Anti-Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of these regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging and appoint 'Anti-Ragging Squad' if it is felt necessary for prevention of ragging at TNNLS.
A copy of the "UGC regulation on cubing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions 2009" is send herewith to the Convener of the Committe. The Convener is requested to Convene the Anti-Ragging Committee at the earliest to discuss and decide on various issues concerning ragging and modalities for prevention. The members of the Committee are authorized to make surprise raids on hostels and other places vulnerable to incidents, to conduct on-the-spot enquiry into any incident of ragging referred to it by the Registrar or any student or parent/guardian and submit the recommendations to the Registrar / Vice-Chancellor for action as envisaged in the Regulation 9.1(a).
